Happy first-day-of-the-(working)-week, you fine thing.
Call me controversial Kelly (go on, I DARE you) but I love Monday mornings.
The slate is wiped clean of any weekend wildness, and potential is at its ripest for a productive week ahead. And wowee, does she need a productive one this week.
Iâve just returned to my Sydney sanctuary after a special few weeks in my homestate of QLD, which included watching one of my besties get married and spending time with my sister and nephew from London.
It also included the launch of The Solo Co (weâre three weeks deep now gang, can you believe it?), which totally exceeded my expectations.
Next week, Iâll share an update on when the Co Lab will be live. This is where youâll be able to access mini masterclasses from industry experts + get to connect with eachother (how exciting!). Watch this space ;)
In the meantime, letâs dive into this weekâs Solo Scoop.
LISTEN OF THE WEEK
Sabrina Carpenter's new album, obvi. I've found this one to be a bit more of a grower, but the gal sure knows how to make a catchy banger. I've got few on repeat... WBU?
Sidenote - what are everyone's thoughts on the OG album cover? Gal sure knows how to cause a stir, too.
READ OF THE WEEK
This piece in Fast Company on how small biz owners are investing more in marketing, but aren't actually sure if it's working (can anyone relate?) + the role AI may play.
SOMETHING TO TRY THIS WEEK >> Create a content series by linking reels on Instagram.
Meta just announced this feature, which makes it *way* easier to organise content and drive engagement. You can link previous content or start fresh with a series your audience can follow like mini episodes, eg:
- Reel one: Set the scene â the problem, pain point, or question your audience instantly recognises.
- Reel two: The journey â bring them behind the curtain. Show your process, your vibe, your personality. This is where people connect with you.
- Reel three: The payoff â the transformation, solution, or offer. Invite them to take the next step.
Think of it like an ongoing storyline, not a standalone. The first reel grabs interest, then next keeps them watching, and the final one delivers the 'aha' moment and/or CTA.
I'll be trying it this week, too! Will let you know how it goes xoxo
QUOTE OF THE WEEK "We think, mistakenly, that success is the result of the amount of time we put in at work - instead of the quality of time we put in." - Arianna Huffington
OVER TO YOU, QUEEN Whatâs one thing youâre calling in this week - focus, fun, freedom, quality time at work, all of the above? Hit reply and LMK. I want to cheer you on (and include something to help in next week's Scoop).
Here's to your fresh slate Kelly.
Manifesting a magical week rich in quality time for you, Lizzie xoxo
